SAQA Timeline:

 

1986

Mr. Saqqa established his own company, The International Office for Engineering and Contracting.

 

1987

Mr. Jawdat Khoudary joined Mr. Saqqa’s company and became a 50% shareholder partner. The name of the company was then changed to Saqqa & Khoudary Co. Ltd. (SAK).

 

2005

Mr. Saqqa acquired Berlin Company which undertook projects such as a modern office building currently rented by the UNDP, a private villa, a mosque, and a beach house.

 

2012

Both partners of SAK mutually agreed to split the company in half. The division encompassed all assets (real estate, factories, stores, and equipment).

 

2013

  • Mr. Saqqa changed the name of Berlin Company to Skills and Quality Construction Company Ltd. (SAQA).  With him, Mr. Saqqa took several key members of SAK’s staff, including a number of highly qualified personnel in management and engineering.

  • SAQA’s newly built head office building is wholly owned by Mr. Saqqa and is located on Omar Bin Abdulaziz St. in Gaza City, Palestine. SAQA also has a West Bank location, with offices on Irsal St. in Ramallah, Palestine.
